Anne Silva, a spokeswoman for SoCal Gas:
“The company is still “not sure of the exact location of the leak,”
Silva said, “but suspects it is within a shallow level — within the first
several hundred feet of the 8,700-foot well.”

New time lapse
video..shows constant explosive type eruptions.. "barreling down the
mountain"
Newly released
video of the Aliso Canyon gas well blowout shows a rolling cloud of methane gas
barreling down a mountain towards Porter Ranch, CA. This new video, shot on
December 9, 2015 with a specialized FLIR GF320 infrared camera, used by
regulators to find leaks at natural gas facilities, highlights the horrifying
scale of the issue facing local residents. The video captures the gas cloud, at
60x speed, as it escapes its containment in the storage well, in the Southern
California Gas Co. facility at Aliso Canyon, and moves downhill towards Porter
Ranch.

During the monsoon season June to September 2015, a worldwide
simultaneous dam content change of 132.73 Billion cubic meters (BCM) at an
upward force of 1.3 x 10^15 Newtons caused an upward displacement of the well
location by 708.1 m from 1 June 2015 to 30 September 2015. In the dry season
from 30 September 2015 to 10 December 2015 when the blowout occurrence started
spewing out methane gas at 07:45:49.95 UTC, the dam surge had exerted a force
of 4.3 x 10^14 Newtons in the downward direction at a power of 9.67 million
terawatts for an estimated 31.5 milliseconds with an estimated dam content
change(water withdrawal) of the world’s dams of 43.88 BCM causing a downward
displacement of the well location by 708.1 m from its position on 30 September
2015. This occurred when the dam surge applied at the centre of gravity of the
world’s dams at
